The skirt is made of many layers. The edge of every lace is sewn by another kind of fabric, something like silk, with the same color, pretty good! It fits me greatly. The dress itself is well made, however, it was a little too big and rather bulky with lots of padding in the bodice. I am a US size 8 and will have the dress taken in and padding removed to get the fit right, I would recommend sending in personal measurements to anyone buying from this site!
