The skirt is made of many layers. The edge of every lace is sewn by another kind of fabric, something like silk, with the same color, pretty good! It fits me greatly. This mini dress is ordered for my junior bridesmaid who is 12 years old. According to Edie's instructions we referred to the measuring guide and then ordered the custom size.The dress did fit perfectly, no sizing issue.
